Who we are
Culprit Coast Clothing Co. is an independent apparel brand operated as a sole proprietorship in Southern Ontario, Canada. Privacy questions or requests: culpritweather@gmail.com.
What we collect and why
We collect only what’s needed to run the store:
- Order information — your name, shipping and billing address, email, and order details, so we can take payment, ship your order, handle returns, and contact you about it.
- Payment information — payments are processed by WooPayments/Stripe. Your card details go to the payment processor; we don’t receive or store your full card number.
- Contact messages — if you email us or use the contact form, we keep the message so we can reply.
- Site basics — our store platform (WooCommerce) uses cookies that are needed for the cart and checkout to work, and basic site logs for security.
How we use it
- To fulfil orders, process payments and refunds, and provide support.
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We share information only with the services needed to run the store — principally our payment processor (Stripe/WooPayments) and shipping carriers — and only the parts they need.
Retention
We keep order records as long as needed for accounting, tax, and legal obligations as a Canadian business, and contact messages as long as needed to deal with your enquiry.
Your choices
- You can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted (subject to records we must keep by law). Email culpritweather@gmail.com and we’ll respond.
- If we ever send marketing emails, they’ll be opt-in only, with an unsubscribe in every message. (At launch we send order-related emails only.)

We may update this policy from time to time; the current version will always be posted on this page.
